STEP #9:

Downloading Audio Files

White Hot and Keeping Cool -- Downloadable audio books are the best thing since sliced bread! Choose from thousands of titles including mysteries, biographies and children’s books. Music is available too via the Internet for free and by subscription. Listen from your computer or download onto your portable audio player and take your book wherever you go. Now that you have your MP3 player, you will need to follow the tasks below in order to be entered into the final drawing.

EXERCISE #9:

A.

• Click on the DIGITAL MEDIA button at the library's homepage.
• Select either MyMediaMall or NetLibrary.
• Browse the titles that are available or search for your favorite author.
• Follow the steps to download your audio book

B.

• For free mp3 music downloads, try SOUNDCLICK.
• Browse through the list of music available.
• Click on the underlined portion of the title.
• Scroll to the bottom of the page where the mp3 is located. Click it.
• Select SAVE.
• Save to your computer.
• You may want to create a separate folder for your downloadables.
• Follow the steps to download your music to the mp3 player.

C.

• Go to your blog and post about the files you downloaded.
